Occasely for Bluesky
Bluesky posts that don't read like an ad
Occasely writes the plain, unmarketed version of your occasion post for Bluesky and publishes it on schedule, with links and hashtags that actually work.
Posts published for real
Connect with a Bluesky app password and scheduled posts go out through the AT Protocol, with an optional image and a link to the live post.
Links and tags that stay clickable
Bluesky stores plain text and a separate map of where the links and hashtags are. Occasely builds that map for every post, so a URL is a link rather than grey text — including in Hindi, Arabic or emoji captions, where the offsets are easy to get wrong.
Written for the room
The Bluesky version of your brief drops the hashtag wall and the marketing voice. This audience reacts badly to engagement-bait, so Occasely writes at most two tags and none of the hooks it would use on Instagram.
Written for Bluesky, not pasted into it
The AI follows Bluesky's own rules every time it writes:
- Plain and direct — say the thing, then stop.
- Under 300 characters, which is Bluesky's limit.
- Two hashtags at most, often none.
- No engagement bait, no 'drop a comment below'.

Worth knowing before you connect
App password, not your password
You connect with an app password created in Bluesky's own settings. It can be revoked one at a time and cannot change your password or email. Occasely will not accept an account password.
300 characters is a hard stop
An over-long post is rejected before it reaches Bluesky, with the character count in the failure reason, rather than published truncated.
One post, one image
A single post with at most one image. No threads, no video, no quote-posts, and no replies.
Questions shop owners ask
Do I need an invite code?
No. Bluesky is open to everyone now, and Occasely connects to an existing account — it does not create one for you.
Why an app password rather than signing in?
Because it is the safer thing to ask for. An app password is revocable on its own and cannot change your account's password or email, so connecting a scheduler never puts the account itself at risk.
Will my links be clickable?
Yes. Bluesky needs a separate map of where each link and tag sits in the text, and Occasely builds it per post — measured in bytes, so a caption written in Hindi or with emoji still gets the ranges right.
Does the same brief write my other channels?
Yes. One occasion brief produces the Bluesky post, the Instagram caption, the Google Business update and the rest, each written to its own platform's rules.
