The AI follows Discord's own rules every time it writes:
- Talk to members, not to strangers.
- Short paragraphs; links are welcome and useful here.
- No hashtags at all — they do nothing on Discord.
- Up to 2000 characters, which is far more room than any other channel.

Worth knowing before you connect
One webhook, one channel
A webhook points at the single channel it was created in. To post to a second channel you create a second webhook and connect it separately.
No permalink
Discord's webhook reply doesn't include the server id needed to build a jump link, so these posts show as published without a link back. We'd rather show nothing than a broken one.
Posts only
Occasely posts into the channel. It does not read messages, reply to members, moderate, or run a bot.
Questions shop owners ask
Do I need to add a bot to my server?
No. A webhook is created in the channel's own settings and needs no bot, no app and no approval. Deleting the webhook is how you disconnect.
Can Occasely post to more than one channel?
Yes, by connecting one webhook per channel. Each connects separately because a webhook can only ever reach the channel it was made in.
Will it read or reply to messages in my server?
No. A webhook can only post. Occasely cannot see your channel's messages, cannot reply, and cannot moderate.
Why is there no link to the post?
Discord's response to a webhook doesn't carry the server id a jump link needs. Rather than guess at a URL that might 404, Occasely records the post without one.
