Captions you can use
Written to each platform’s own rules — the hashtag block that belongs on Instagram is exactly what makes a Google Business post look like spam.
Eid collection is in, and the last-minute alterations diary opens today. Embroidered kurtas, three-piece sets, and the pastel range that sold out last year. Sizes S to 3XL, from ₹1,800. Tailoring cut-off is 5 March — after that we can only do hems.

The arc these belong in
One caption is not a campaign. This is the shape that works, and it is the same four phases Occasely plans automatically.
- TeaserMid RamadanWhat you have for Eid, and your Ramadan hours. Both, in the same post.
- Build-upLast ten daysThe range with prices, and appointment or pre-order slots opening.
- OfferFinal weekCut-off dates for delivery, tailoring, or bookings. This is the busiest week.
- Last dayEid dayThe greeting, warmly and briefly, plus your Eid opening hours.
Why this occasion is worth posting for
- Shopping concentrates in the last ten nights of Ramadan — outfits, gifts, sweets and salon appointments all at once.
- Iftar and suhoor timings change nightly, which makes opening-hours posts genuinely useful rather than filler.
- A greeting posted on Eid morning arrives after every purchase has already been made.
Three mistakes worth avoiding
Posting only the greeting
"Eid Mubarak" on the day is polite and does nothing commercially. The trade happens in the ten days before it.
Ignoring the timing shift
Customers are awake and shopping late during Ramadan. A post scheduled for 9am is landing at the least useful hour of the day.
Treating Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha as the same
They are different occasions with different shopping behaviour. Reusing last Eid's post is visible to everyone it is aimed at.
Copying one caption is the easy part
The work is the other eleven posts: written for your business, in your language, dated across three weeks, and actually published while you are serving customers. Describe your shop once and Occasely does that for Eid al-Fitr and every occasion after it.
Plan Eid al-Fitr in OccaselyQuestions
- When should I start posting for Eid?
- From the middle of Ramadan. The last ten days are when outfits, gifts and appointments are decided, so your range and your cut-off dates need to be visible before then.
- What time of day should Eid posts go out?
- Later than usual. Through Ramadan people are most active after iftar and late into the night, so evening slots reach far more of them than a morning post.
- Does Occasely handle both Eids?
- Yes — Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are separate occasions in the calendar, with their own arcs, so you never end up reposting one for the other.
