Occasely vs Ocoya
Ocoya is a fast way to produce posts and graphics. Occasely plans before it writes: give it an occasion and the dates arrive before the copy does.
The short answer
Ocoya and Occasely both sell AI content, but they solve different halves of the problem. Ocoya is a production tool. Give Travis a prompt or a product URL and you get captions, hashtags and a template graphic, in a long list of languages, on a plan that started at $15/mo when we researched it in July 2026. What it does not do is decide what your next four weeks should look like. Reviewers describe Travis as helping generate and plan campaigns rapidly, and in practice that means batch-generating posts rather than building a sequence. Occasely starts at the sequence: name Diwali, Eid or Black Friday and you get a dated arc with a teaser, a build-up, an offer and a last-day push, each post written for the channel it goes to. The trade is real. Ocoya publishes to TikTok and we do not. It has a template design studio and Shopify hooks we do not. Even its analytics, which reviewers call weak, show you more than ours, because ours reports delivery and nothing else. If your problem is producing posts faster, Ocoya is the more complete tool. If your problem is that occasions keep arriving before you have planned for them, that is the one thing we are built for.
What Ocoya is genuinely good at
Copy, design and scheduling in one tab
Travis writes the caption and hashtags, an in-app design studio and a Canva integration produce the graphic, and the scheduler ships it. That density at the entry price is the reason people buy it. Occasely generates images with AI but has no template editor and no Canva integration.
A longer language list than ours
Ocoya advertises copywriting in 28+ languages. We offer 18+ language styles. Neither list has been independently tested for quality in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu or Bengali, so treat both as claims rather than proof. On breadth alone, theirs is longer.
It publishes to TikTok
Ocoya's core coverage is Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and TikTok, with Google Business Profile and YouTube listed in its own materials. Occasely does not publish to TikTok or YouTube at all, and we have no date to give you.
Built with e-commerce in mind
Shopify and WooCommerce integrations turn a product into a post, which matters when your catalogue changes every week. Occasely has no store integration. You describe the business once and everything is written from that.
Where Occasely is the better fit
You type an occasion, not a prompt
Type Diwali, Eid, Christmas or Black Friday and Occasely returns a plan, not a pile: a teaser, a build-up, the offer, the last-day push, every post written and dated before you approve anything. Ocoya's marketing comes closest of anyone in this category to describing that, but what Travis actually does is batch-generate posts.
Text generation is not rationed
Ocoya meters AI credits on every tier. When we researched it, the entry plan carried 100 credits a month and unlimited credits arrived only on the top plan. On Occasely, writing is unlimited on paid plans and only image generation spends a credit. You never have to budget a caption.
Publishing you can audit
Reliability is a recurring theme in Ocoya's public reviews — scheduled posts that do not go out, publish buttons that stay grayed. We cannot speak to their queue, only to ours: every publish attempt is logged with a plain-language failure reason and retried, so when something breaks you hear it from the dashboard rather than from a customer.
Google Business Profile is a real channel here
We publish to Google Business Profile and sync its reviews, then draft a reply in the owner's voice for a human to approve before it goes live. For a shop, a clinic or a restaurant, that panel is usually worth more than another feed. Ocoya lists Google Business Profile as a destination; review replies are not part of it.
Side by side
| Dimension | Occasely | Ocoya |
|---|---|---|
| Where you start | An occasion. You get a dated arc: teaser, build-up, offer, last-day push. | A prompt or product URL. Travis returns a batch of captions and graphics. |
| Publishing channels | Instagram, Facebook, Google Business, LinkedIn (personal), Telegram, X, Threads, Bluesky, Discord. | Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok; GBP and YouTube per vendor materials. |
| AI metering and access | Text unlimited on paid plans; images use credits. MCP server for agent drafts. | Credits on every tier; unlimited credits and API only on the top tier (Jul 2026). |
| Creative tools | AI image generation, credit-metered. No template editor, no store integration. | Template design studio plus Canva, and Shopify/WooCommerce product posts. |
| Analytics | Delivery only: published, queued, failed. No reach, engagement or follower data. | Post analytics that reviewers call weak: no demographics, no competitor tracking. |
| Publish logging | Every attempt is logged with a readable failure reason, then retried. | Not something their materials or our research describe. |
| Entry price and trial | Free tier, then Growth $19/mo for six channels or Pro $39/mo for twelve. No seats, no per-channel fees. | Bronze $15/mo: 5 profiles, 1 user, 100 credits. 7-day trial, no free plan (Jul 2026). |
When to pick Ocoya instead
- TikTok is where your audience is. Ocoya publishes there. Occasely does not, and we are not going to promise a date.
- You want to lay the graphic out yourself. Ocoya's template studio and Canva integration beat prompting an image generator when you have brand assets to place.
- Your posts come out of a Shopify or WooCommerce catalogue. Ocoya reads the store and builds product posts from it; we would have you describe the products by hand.
- You need post performance numbers. Ocoya's analytics get called weak in its own reviews, and they still tell you more than we do — ours stop at published, queued and failed.
If the occasion is the part you keep missing
Describe your business once. Occasely plans the arc for every occasion that matters to it, writes each post for the channel it is going to, and holds the queue until you approve.
Questions
- Is Occasely cheaper than Ocoya?
- Not at the entry price. When we researched Ocoya in July 2026, its Bronze plan was $15/mo for 5 profiles, 1 user and 100 AI credits, and Occasely's Growth plan is $19/mo. The difference is shape rather than size. Ocoya has no free plan, only a 7-day trial, and meters AI credits on every tier. Occasely has a free tier — two channels and 10 AI posts a month, though occasion campaigns themselves start on Growth — plus unlimited text generation on paid plans, no per-seat pricing and no per-channel pricing. Prices move, so check their pricing page before you decide.
- Can Occasely post to TikTok like Ocoya can?
- No. Today we publish to nine channels: Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn personal profiles, Telegram, X, Threads, Bluesky and Discord. TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat and WhatsApp are not supported. If TikTok is central to your marketing, that is a straightforward reason to choose Ocoya over us.
- Which one has better analytics?
- Ocoya, and it is not close. Reviewers call Ocoya's analytics weak, with no audience demographics and no competitor tracking, but ours is thinner still: we report delivery only, meaning published, queued or failed, per network. No reach, no impressions, no engagement, no follower growth. If reporting is what you hand to a client, neither of us is the right buy.
- Ocoya says Travis plans campaigns. How is Occasely different?
- Travis generates in batches. Give it a prompt and it returns captions, hashtags and template graphics quickly, which is genuinely useful. What comes back is a set of posts, not a sequence. Occasely produces a schedule where each post has a job: the teaser sets it up, the build-up adds pressure, the offer lands, the last-day push closes. The dates are attached, so you see the shape of the campaign before you approve any of it.
- Occasely is in private beta. Why would I move now?
- Maybe you shouldn't. We are pre-launch, with no customer count, no testimonials and no awards to point at, while Ocoya is a shipping product with public reviews you can go and read yourself. Move if the occasion arc is the thing you actually need and the nine channels we support cover where you post. If you need TikTok, template design or real performance analytics, stay where you are.
